We want to see what kinds of awesome pets you can create!

To participate in this event, all you need to do is submit a screenshot showing off a new pet. The type of pet you choose can be entirely your choice. You can submit brand new types of pets or even modify a current one. You can even use creatures/people from other games, but note that we’ll be awarding the most points for truly original pets. You are not limited to only monsters or animals, and your imagination will be your best ally. Feel free to add in any captions or jokes if you like. Additional points will be awarded based on the professionalism of the screenshot, creativity of the pet, and/or humor.

Rules

- The image must be adapted from a screen shot within Rappelz.
- Image must clearly show the character model of the "pet," as well as the pet in a card format.
- Submissions must be original creations. No plagiarism allowed. (You can use whatever you want in its creation but do not steal other users' work and claim it as your own.)
- Keep it clean. No inflammatory submissions will be accepted.
- Winners will be notified by Rappelz_promo@gala-net.com
- You can use any images you have at your disposal.

Submissions will open up on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 and close Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Any Rappelz user is welcome to participate by posting a screen shot in the forum.

By entering, the contestant warrants that he/she is the sole author of the entry submitted. The contestant grants to the sponsor, Gala-Net, Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and publicly display the contestant's entry on its Web site and in other media for the purpose of promoting the sponsor. Each contestant further agrees to execute any and all documents necessary to effectuate such license. The intellectual property remains property of the contestant. However, contestants are encouraged to file copyrights, as applicable, to protect intellectual property associated with their submissions.

*Players will vote on a set of top screen shots determined by GMs. The screen shots will be noted as honorable mentions and will receive a prize of a poster. The estimate for the number of honorable mentions will be based on number of submissions.

Once the giveaway is complete the thread will be locked and the GMs will go through it and rate each submission. Judging will be based on professionalism, creativity, originality, and artistic ambition. Once the judging is done for the top 5 categories the GMs will create an additional poll for players to vote for a Players' Choice winner among the honorable mentions. The honorable mentions will receive a poster.
